30-days Meditation Challenge

In the 30-days meditation challenge, you are supposed to meditate for 30 continuous days whereby you start on the first days with a short session of about 6 minutes and grows as the days go by to a 20-minute session. It could be hard on the first days, especially for a beginner, but as you get to the second week, you will be ready and always looking forward to your meditation time.

How it works                                                    

There is a 30-day calendar that one uses as the guideline. Every day, the meditation calendar directs you on what you are to do during that day’s meditation session. You can then get the 30-day challenge video and use it to meditate with. There is a way that you can see to gauge yourself on how much you are captivating the meditation lesson. Before moving to the next day, try meditating without using the video and see how good you are becoming.

To balance the meditation practice, you could try including other meditation activities such as the reason as to why you are meditating. This will help you get used to your new habit.

Meditation comes in many forms. They are so many that you cannot master and use them all. It is important, therefore that you choose your style that you are going to be using for the 30 days. YouTube is always there with videos of all the meditation techniques. These videos will guide you through your challenge. Due to the busy lifestyle that people lead these days, it might be hard to find the right time to meditate, and therefore I would suggest that the best time to meditate would be at night before sleeping or in the morning before work.

Benefits of the 30- day challenge

 This challenge brings you such tremendous relaxation,working like the shut down or restart button on the computer, where, when you shut down the computer, you are giving it another chance to start over the next time you are turning it on, unlike the hibernate button that does not allow the computer to start over again but makes it pick up where it had left previously. Meditation gives your mind a fresh start and gives your body the energy to face a new day.

Conclusion

By the time you are getting to the 15th day, your body muscles will be relaxed, and you will be having quality sleep since you will not be struggling to sleep at night since your mind and body are relaxed.

This 30-day challenge has worked so well for people that they decide to meditate daily without ceasing.
